Rosalia Vila or Rosalia (Spanish meaning "Rosalia") Rosalia Vila (Spanish for "Rosalia") is a Spanish singer and songwriter from Spain. She is a Flamenco and Pop artist. Since she was a teen she sang in both the traditional and popular music. However, her singing interests have broadened to include soul, hip-hop and hip-hop. Pepe Habichuela has said that her voice as smooth, elegant and sharp while also possessing a bit of bite. El Mal Querer was her significant commercial breakthrough and critical success in 2018. After Los Angeles garnered her attention and earned her a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist It also topped the Billboard charts of Latin Pop Albums and she received a Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami included songwriting collaborations with numerous artists such as Cory Henry, James Blake and many others. The release date was the 20th of March, 2022 in the wake of the live performance of Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia became the first Spanish singer to perform solo on the program. As well as winning three more Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia, she also became the first woman to win this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
